A Road Trip Adventure with Every Path, Every Paw
We’re getting ready to roll south for one of our biggest adventures yet! Rolling South with Paws & Paths is our upcoming camping and travel series following James, Boomer, and family as we take the camper on the road through the South.
This trip is more than just miles on the map. It is the beginning of a new chapter for Paws & Paths, where we share real travel experiences, service dog travel, campground life, pet-friendly tips, theme parks, family moments, and everything that happens along the way.
From packing the camper and organizing Boomer’s gear to planning campground stops, grocery runs, theme park days, and quiet nights at camp, we’re bringing you behind the scenes of what it really takes to travel with paws on board.
Where We’re Going
Our journey will take us south with stops including:
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Our first major stop as we settle into the camper, enjoy the mountains, and kick off the trip.
Savannah, Georgia
A beautiful Southern stop with campground life, history, and plenty of travel moments to share.
Orlando, Florida
We’ll be visiting Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Panama City Beach, Florida
A coastal stop to slow down, relax, and enjoy some beach-side campground life.
Good Hope, Alabama
Our final overnight stop before heading back home.
Traveling with Boomer
Boomer is a big part of this trip. As James’ service dog, he takes a lot of preparation before we ever leave the driveway. We’re packing his boots, cooling vest, extra vests, leashes, food, medications, vet records, and everything else he needs to stay safe and comfortable on the road.
Some parts of the trip will include Boomer right by our side, while other parts, like Volcano Bay, will mean Boomer stays safely in the air-conditioned camper. We’ll be using a WiFi thermometer to keep an eye on the camper temperature and make sure he stays safe while we’re away.
What We’ll Be Sharing
During Rolling South with Paws & Paths, we’ll be sharing:
- Behind-the-scenes trip prep
- Campground reviews
- Service dog travel tips
- Pet-friendly travel experiences
- Camper life moments
- Theme park visits
- Family travel stories
- Gear we use on the road
- Real-life travel wins, surprises, and challenges
This trip will not be perfect, and that’s part of the story. We’re traveling in a camper, with family, with Boomer, and with a lot of moving parts. That means there will be fun moments, busy days, unexpected problems, and plenty of memories.
Follow the Journey
We may not post every moment right away because some days will be busy with travel, setup, parks, campground life, and making sure Boomer and the family are taken care of. But don’t worry — we’ll be capturing the journey and sharing updates along the way.
Rolling South with Paws & Paths is just the start of something bigger.
Every mile, every campground, every stop, and every paw print is part of the story.
